Pregnancy Pilates can help retrain your muscles to accommodate to the changes your body is undergoing throughout your pregnancy. Many women find that Pilates helps some of the common ailments associated with pregnancy. Among the most common of these are back and pelvic pain. It is a safe and effective way to strengthen the core muscles including the pelvic floor.

WHEN IS IT SAFE TO DO PREGNANCY PILATES?

The first trimester of pregnancy is a sensitive time as women adapt to their pregnancy. At Yoga Mama Wellness, we recommend women to attend pregnancy Pilates classes in the second or third trimester of pregnancy.
