No child should feel lonely at Christmas. However, for the children cared for by St Christopher’s Fellowship, many find this festive season a difficult time. For those who may be homeless or have left care, they can find themselves on their own with no family to spend Christmas with.
So how can you help St Christopher’s Christmas Appeal? Donating £20 could go towards presents for one of their children and would bring a smile on Christmas Day. A donation of £45 could buy a train ticket for a young person so that they are not alone over the festive period or it could buy Christmas lunch for those who need it most.
St Christopher’s Fellowship is a charity which was founded in 1870 and works across the UK but is based in Putney. They aim to create brighter futures for young people and children, provide children’s homes and supported housing and host specialist support services designed for young people in different types of care. The charity continues to support young people by growing their confidence and development so that they can reach their full potential. Their ultimate vision is for every child and young person under their care to be safe, happy and loved.
