Night-time Strategy

Help shape the new Night Time strategy for Wandsworth. The Council is developing a Night Time Strategy to boost the borough’s night time economy and make the streets more welcoming and safe. The strategy will look at how to make the time between 6pm and 6am the best experience possible for everyone living, working and visiting the borough.  It will explore how opportunities for socialising, creativity and fun can be maximised and celebrated.  It will also cover conditions for night workers, and look at night transport, street lighting and design.

Local people are being invited to help shape the strategy by taking part in an online consultation.

Putney has a thriving night-time economy but how could it be improved? How do all those who work late at night get home, is the public transport sufficient? Do we feel safe at night, or could the design of public spaces be improved? Would like to do more at night – could the shops be open later? Or would you like to have more night time education available? So many things to think about and now is the opportunity to tell Wandsworth Council what is important to you.

#nightime, #safeatnight
