There is so many fun things to do this Christmas in Putney. Our theme for this year is the Nutcracker, bringing the much loved Christmas tale to life in Putney.

Kicking off the celebrations is our light switch on being held on Friday 19th November. Local schools and performance groups will be performing on our stage compered by Riverside Radio. The lights will be switch on by the Sugar plum fairy at 6pm.

We will have three days of Nutcracker story telling by the wonderful theatre group Storystock performances. They are all free to attend but numbers will be limited. The performance is 20 minutes long followed by 20 mins stay and play Christmas crafting.

Friday 19th November in Church Square at 5.50pm just before the lights are switched on.

Sunday 28th November by the escalator in Putney Exchange at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.

Saturday 4th December in the Platform, Putney hotel at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm.

From Tuesday 22nd November we will have five life-sized nutcracker statues in the windows of businesses around the town centre. See if you can find them and tag us in your photos. We would love to see them. For more details click here.

On Saturday 4th December Upper Richmond Road are hosting their Christmas Fayre. It coincides with Small Business Saturday and is an opportunity to celebrate our independent businesses .
