Chestertons Winter Coat Drive

For the 10th consecutive year, Chestertons are supporting charity Calling London in a mission to keep London’s homeless and most vulnerable warm throughout the winter.

Until 20th November, head to the Putney branch on Upper Richmond Road to donate unwanted winter coats and jackets. Local schools, businesses and community groups are encouraged to get involved, and Chestertons employees also run their own collections from family, friends and neighbours.

“The impact of the cost of living crisis means the demand for winter coats is likely to be higher than ever, with many more families facing financial difficulties – so your kind donations are needed now more than ever.”

Since partnering with Calling London in 2013, Chestertons have collected more and more coats every year, starting with 200 in their first year and growing to an incredible 4000 in 2022. This winter they are hoping to collect even more coats as the demand is so much higher.

Drop your donations by Tuesday 20th November to the Putney Branch
