Positively Putney is the local Business Improvement District (BID) which works to develop and promote the local area, assist local businesses and liaise with other local governing bodies to ensure Putney gets the help it needs.
The BID is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors who represents levy payers from a range of sectors and organisations in the Putney BID area. The Board advises on operational and service delivery issues, oversee performance measurement, and act as the primary consultative body on BID services. They are responsible for the BID’s financial arrangements, contractual obligations, human resources, standards and compliance, and strategic direction. Members of the Board of Directors are subject to election at the Annual General Meeting.
Positively Putney BID has four members in the team. Nicola Grant and Anna Haigh. Nicola Grant (Executive Director) leads the team and is responsible for ensuring that the objectives and services detailed in the business plan are delivered. Anna Haigh (Business Liaison Manager) is responsible for day-to-day support to all of the BID’s businesses. Rex and David work on the Putney Pedals Recycling Scheme.
