Arts Market

Wandsworth Art Markets 2023 will showcase the best of art and creativity from within Wandsworth, at three venues: Tooting, Nine Elms and St Mary’s Church, Putney.
The markets will be open from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April, and alongside the market we have a programme of art/creativity workshops:
Drawing happy dinosaurs in 5 easy steps
Saturday 1st April | 1:30pm | 1.5hrs | Ages 4+
Attendees will learn a method to draw two different happy dinosaurs starting with lines and circles. We will keep refining them until finishing with two illustrations that can take home and put in their fridge.
Bracelet Workshop
Sunday 2nd April | 1:30pm | 30mins | Ages 15+
We’ll be making a fun adjustable bracelet with Annette Warham, a Jewellery Designer, Pearl Stringer and Tutor at Morley College. This project is suitable for everyone and you’ll get to take your bracelet away with you.
Portrait Photography Class
Sunday 2nd April | 2:30pm | 1.5hrs | Ages 18+
No experience needed and mobile phones as well as cameras are welcome. Participants will go through basic knowledge about portrait photography, such as technical settings, the importance of light and composition. The attendees will then work in pairs in order to put into practice the knowledge learned.
*Children must be supervised by parents/guardians
