Join us at this powerful play based on collected testimonials of five participants in the First World War.
Selected from the Imperial War Museum’s sound archive recorded in the 1950s, Forgotten Voices relives the moving testimonies of those whose lives were utterly transformed by their experiences in the First World War. Based on the best-selling book by Max Arthur and adapted for the stage by Malcolm McKay.
The accomplished acting team – John Chancer (who acted in James Bond ‘Casino Royale’), Bafta nominated Maggie Ollerenshaw (Endavour, House of Elliott), Paul Moriarty (Pride and Prejudice), Geoff Leesley (Game of Thrones) and our own Charlie Roe (Shackleton, Morse)!
First performed and highly acclaimed at the Edinburgh Festival, it is now being presented at Putney’s St Mary’s Church on 19th November at 3pm and 7.30pm.
