An exhibition of 10 new paintings by artist, Kate Ironside. Kate has been working with Thames Rowing Club over the last six months on an art project – creating paintings about rowing and the river. Celebrating community and the outdoors, the paintings are also a nostalgic reflection of time spent on the water.
Acrylic on canvas and on wood panels, the paintings will be available for sale on the day, along with limited edition prints – with 10% of all sales donated to the club. After the exhibition the paintings will be available online from 7 April: www.kateironsideartist.com
The Thames Rowing Club cafe will also be open serving delicious coffee, cake and snacks as usual!
Kate lived and rowed in Putney for 15 years, starting her art career at the local art market.
