Rumours by Neil Simon
Written by Neil Simon, one of America’s most prolific and popular playwrights, ‘Rumours’ is a madcap comedy in which 4 couples are invited to their friends’ country house for a 10th wedding anniversary party. The first couple arrive and the host, a leading member of the government, lies bleeding in the bedroom from a gunshot wound and his wife is nowhere to be seen. To avoid a scandal, his lawyer Ken must get the ‘story’ straight before the other guests arrive. What transpires is an evening of cover ups, mistaken identity, confusion and classic, farcical hilarity!
