Wandsworth Arts Fringe – HETTIE SMITH JUST TO BE SAFE

She’s taking a pregnancy test just to be safe. She’s not worried. Everything’s going to be fine… well, she hopes.

‘Just to be safe’ is a fast paced, comedic one woman play where all emotions and opinions are valid. You follow the thought process of ‘woman’ as she is waiting for her pregnancy test to develop.

She is an honest representation of open minded, young, hopeful women who love the idea of love.

Consequently, she challenges the normalisation of hookup culture, and explores the juxtaposition between her female and male relationships.
