Impact of our Christmas Events

This festive period in Putney, we have hosted the Christmas Light Switch On, 9 days of the Skate rink, delivered 30,000 Christmas brochures to local households and run a 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways campaign on social media. These activities are all designed to boost footfall and spend in Putney town centre. These events have:

  1. Increased foot traffic: These Christmas events drew large crowds and increased the number of people visiting Putney. This has helped local businesses by exposing them to a larger customer base.
  2. Boosted sales: The increased foot traffic hopefully leads to increased sales for local businesses. This is especially important for small, independent businesses that rely on Christmas trade to make up a significant portion of their annual income.
  3. Enhanced the community’s sense of unity and belonging: These events brought people together and created a sense of community.
  4. Promoted the local area: Our events helped to promote the local area and attracted visitors from outside the community.

Overall, we feel that these activities helped to create a festive atmosphere, and bring people together to celebrate the holiday season. We hope you all had a wonderful time and we wish you a Happy New Year. We look forward to welcoming you in Putney again very soon.
