New Year’s Resolutions

We are just a month away from the New Year and now is a great time to start thinking about some of the resolutions you’d like to set for 2023! A great resolution is to give back some of your time to your community. One way to do this is by volunteering locally and we have compiled a short list of places in Putney where you can volunteer: 

Putney Tidy Towpath– Putney Tidy Towpath are a group of volunteers in SW15 who removing litter & plastic from the foreshore, towpath, slipways & Embankment from Putney Bridge to Queen Elizabeth Walk. The group of volunteers intend to organise bi-monthly litter picking sessions and are always looking for volunteers to join.

Volunteer at your local Charity shops– Putney has a wide range of charity shops, all dedicated to incredibly important causes. You can have a look at our business directory to see all the charity shops in Putney where you can donate your goods or your time.

Wandsworth Carer’s Centre / Sunflower cafe – Wandsworth Carer’s Centre is currently looking for volunteers to spare a few hours for a weekly dementia cafe meet up for Carers of people with dementia can meet and socialise in a safe and friendly environment.
