A look back at Putney’s Ice Trail

Icy Fun for all

On Saturday the 25th of November, we hosted Putney’s first ever Ice Sculpture Trail and the largest Ice Trail in London.

It was fantastic to see families, friends, couples and even dogs taking part in the trail and ticking off the sculptures on their map exploring parts of Putney that might not normally visit.

Many people were queuing for the ‘Monkey Golf Hole’ outside Jungle Rumble hoping to get a hole in one, with the chance to win prizes too. Phoenix Yoga hosted an open day along side their sculpture, with visitors treated to delicious cakes and snacks as well as the opportunity to have a go at some Yoga. Thanks to Putney businesses

The magnificent Ice Sculptures were funded by Putney businesses through their BID levy with nine of the sculptures sponsored by specific Putney’s businesses:

  • Riverhomes
  • Bosa Lounge
  • Octagreen
  • Allan Fuller
  • Phoenix Yoga
  • Putney Exchange
  • The Massage Company
  • Jungle Rumble
  • McDonalds

We would love to see all your images enjoying the Putney Ice trail so please upload and share your snaps on socials using #putneyicetrail.

Walking_Wandsworth won our competition on Instagram winning £50 voucher for Bosa Lounge and £50 for Kids Stuff.

Live Entertainment

Those taking a break from walking the Putney Ice Trail were treated to some superb performances throughout the day on the community stage in Church Square and on Upper Richmond Road by the Little Waitrose.
