Have you seen the wonderful images displayed on a number of Putney vacant units? The historic have been sourced from Wandsworth Heritage Services and show Putney High Street, Putney Bridge Road, Putney Bridge and the Embankment. The image above is Putney High Street in 1890.
We have also included images from the wonderful local photographer Andrew Wilson, plus some from the Positively Putney archives.
These vinyls were partly inspired by an exhibition that David Armstrong put together for Putney Methodist Church to celebrate their 150th Anniversary entitled ‘Putney’ 1870. You can read more here.
