Positively Putney was thrilled to host a series of free, fun-filled activities for families this summer warmly received by both children and adults. These events were funded by local businesses.
On July 25th, a 7.5-meter-tall climbing wall became a striking centerpiece in Church Square. With up to 15 different circuits, the wall provided daring fun for both kids and adults. It was wonderful to see some of the hardworking folks from the High Street taking on the challenge as well. Adding to the excitement, a skateboarding session took place alongside the wall, bringing even more energy and enthusiasm to the event.
The following week, we combined sporty arts and crafts with thrilling circus skills lessons and the ever-popular balloon modelling. It was tough to choose a favourite balloon creation—whether it was Hedwig from Harry Potter or Chase from Paw Patrol—but one thing was certain: the smiles on Church Square on August 1st were memorable.
For the final week, we turned up the fun with inflatable attractions. The Surf Simulator, bouncy castle, and soft play area were a huge hit with the children who came to enjoy them. There was much laughter as families made the most of these exciting activities.
We are grateful to everyone who came out to join us and made this Summer of Sport such a success. We look forward to bringing more fun and engaging events to Putney in the future.
