2025 Events

We encourage people into town with a varied events programme. In the Spring, we had an Art trail with beautifully painted windows for people to walk around, admire and unscramble the phrase. On Boat Race day, Riverside Radio hosted entertainment alongside a food and drink market. Over the summer holidays we had a campaign called Amazing August which every day spotlighted an event in a business ranging from arts and crafts for kids, exercise classes, to Mochi making classes. Many events were sold out and when surveyed people said they only came into Putney because of the event. In September we had a stand at Roehampton University Freshers Fair. Many of the students are new to the area and we promote Putney as their closest town centre for all their needs in both the daytime and the nightime. We had a fabulous Halloween Trick or Treat Trail with a pumpkin patch and pyro show in the evening. Our popular Christmas community stage with local schools performing was on Friday 28th November when Father Christmas did the honours of switching on the festive lights followed by our third Ice sculpture trail on Saturday 29th November.
