The Putney Street Angels are a group of dedicated volunteers who patrol the town centre every Friday night, ensuring the safety of those enjoying Putney’s nightlife. They assist those who may be lost, intoxicated, or in distress, help diffuse escalating situations, and provide small but essential items like flip-flops for tired feet and bottles of water to keep partygoers hydrated. They also work closely with door staff and provide anti-spiking equipment when necessary.
The presence of the Street Angels has had a hugely positive impact on Putney’s nightlife, making it a safer and more enjoyable place for everyone.
