Easter in Putney 2026 – Boats, bands and bonnets!

From 14 March to 12 April, Putney will come alive with a vibrant celebration of creativity, community and fun.

Beginning on 14th March, twelve beautifully decorated boats each painted by talented pupils from local schools will be hidden inside businesses throughout Putney. Hunt down your school’s boat or follow the full trail for a wonderful afternoon exploring everything Putney has to offer.

Can you find all twelve? They will look similar to the one photographed. Be sure to share your favourite with us!

A big thank you to the fantastic schools that designed and painted the boats, and to the brilliant local businesses hosting them.

Putney boasts an incredible selection of pubs and bars, and throughout the month they will be hosting comedy nights, live music, and much more. A selection of dates are shared on our whats on page, but do check individual venues’ websites for full event listings and additional performances.

Join us in Church Square on Saturday 4th April for our joyful Easter Bonnet Parade. Wear a bonnet you’ve made at home or at school, bring along one you already love, or take part in one of our seven creative workshops to design a brand-new masterpiece.
