Lerner and Loewe’s much-loved, multi award-winning musical brought to our Putney stage!

A chance meeting between two noted British linguists, Professor Henry Higgins and Colonel Hugh Pickering, leads to a wager that will test Higgins’ skills. After they hear a cockney flower girl in the street, Higgins makes a bet with Pickering that he can transform the girl, Eliza Doolittle into a refined lady that could convince anyone that she was a ‘proper lady’. After some hesitation, Eliza agrees to become their test case, and as we see the relationships between the trio develop and grow, the question becomes ‘who is really being transformed?’  Boasting a score including the classic songs I Could Have Danced All Night, Get Me to the Church on Time, Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, On the Street Where You Live, The Rain in Spain, and I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face.
