Naomi Campbell is an Irish Americana/Soul artist based in Liverpool, join her and her band at the Half Moon on the 27th May to celebrate the release of the new single, ‘The Cottage’ as part of a UK/Ireland tour.
With a soulful blend of storytelling and melody, Naomi Campbell combines a hybrid of genres in her music. Known for her dynamic and evocative vocals, she has enjoyed quite the evolution in the past few years from her Irish roots of Folk and Americana to a wider Soul and R&B sound. After releasing her debut single Tuesday’s News (“a sobering yet life- affirming slice of acoustic folk” – Liverpool noise) in March 2024, Naomi has since supported touring artists from the UK, Ireland and the US such as Chris Helme (The Seahorses), John Calvin Abney, Campbell/Jensen, Muireann Bradley and Rachel Croft.
Support from Martha Goddard.
Martha’s deep connection to singing and song-writing can be traced back to the beginning of a journey that is profoundly personal. It was as a socially anxious child that Martha first discovered the healing power of creating, and began using music as an escape and a remedy. Martha has channelled this therapeutic outlet and carved out an ethereal, sparkling, alt-pop niche.
For those who like Kate Bush, Caroline Polachek and Sharon Van Etten. Martha’s music will appeal to anyone who looks at life through an existential lens.
