Oliver honed his technique during years of study in Florence and subsequently New Hampshire, US, under Paul Ingbretson, a renowned artist, educator, and former president of the Guild of Boston Artists.
He believes that a love of the arts and an appreciation of our environment are essential to nurturing the social contract, fostering healing, and enabling individuals to lead meaningful lives. Such pursuits, he feels, offer profound insights into ourselves, our place in the world, and our connection to something greater.
Oliver resides in Putney with his wife, Maija, their son, Cosmo, and their Cockapoo, Stella.
