Powering the future of learning

A free to attend event for anyone with a passion for teaching computing, computer science and technology and with a commitment to raising the standards of computer literacy and the appreciation of technology among students.

Speakers for the event at Roehampton University include Professor Miles Berry, Professor of Computing Education at the University of Roehampton; Professor Yota Dimitriadi, a teacher educator and executive coach at the Institute of Education, University of Reading; and Tig Williams, CAS Master Teacher and Regional Coordinator for the Southeast.

Each speaker delivering valuable sessions on strategies to engage all students and make computer science accessible to all; What we should be teaching children about AI; Curriculum design with a view to covering a good broad tech base plus practical tools and free resources available for teachers to inspire and motivate students.

Registration is from 15.30 with the seminar sessions starting at 16.30. The seminar closes at 18.00 with networking available until 19.00. Complimentary light refreshments are provided.
