Wandsworth Arts Fringe – HEATHER ANTONIA DEADBALL

Deborah has loved cricket since her Dad took her to her first match, aged 5.

So when a career as an umpire becomes an option, she snatches at the chance to dedicate herself to the great game. However when Deborah witnesses a tragedy, everything she has worked for hangs in the balance.

Through comedy and audience participation the audience will go on a journey to find out what it takes to become an umpire and just how heart-breaking it can be when the job you love most is no longer an option.

Part of Wandsworth New Writing Festival.
