The team at Positively Putney had the delight of attending the Time & Leisure, Food and Culture Awards 2024. This years awards ceremony was held at the Rose Theatre in Kingston with the fabulous duet Angellica Bell and Robin Hutchinson compering. Finalists from across South London and Surrey were invited to attend.
Positively Putney sponsored the ‘Most Positive Food & drink experience in Putney’ award. The awards are voted online by users and this category was apparently the hottest contested. The people of Putney all wanted their favourite to be crowned! The winners were the brilliant Home SW15 on Upper Richmond Road.

The ‘Best Family Friendly restaurant’ across all of South London and Surrey was Putney’s Kashmir on Lacy Road.
There was a fabulous choice of food and drink from local businesses for attendees to try. Octagreen on Putney High Street offered a variety of their healthy salads and hot mains which proved very popular alongside Harvey’s Bakehouse serving delicious stilton cheese straws and asparagus croissants.
Businesses across South London and Surrey were celebrated and confirmed how lucky we are to live in such a culturally rich area. Make sure to visit the the nominated and winners restaurants and find out what all the fuss is about. Thank you to everyone who voted.
