Now that summer is here, we would like to share some great places in Putney to spend your free time. Whether you need a place to shop, eat, study or exercise, Putney is the place to be. Join us as we spend a day on Putney High Street discovering some great businesses.
Shopping Essentials
Flying Tiger Copenhagen is the best shop in Putney if you’re looking for something a bit different. From weekly planners to manikin hands, it’s got you covered in all areas. If you have a sweet tooth, we recommend picking up some Sour ufos in the sweet section by the checkout. If you’ve been shopping for revision material, why not stop off at Costa next door for a chilled study session?
In need of some summer essentials? Try H&M for swimwear, Sports Direct for sportswear or Superdrug for some sun protection. Or Aigoo a small shop in Putney Exchange that sells some funky decorations and unique accessories.
Student Fitness
Onto taking care of your body! While you’re in Putney Exchange, check out the gym classes at Energie Fitness on the second floor. Exercise can be a great way to relieve the stress of schoolwork. If you want to improve your mobility and strength, try Heba Pilates, on Upper Richmond Road.
Where to Eat
All this shopping, studying and exercising can be hungry work. Lucky for you, there are many places to grab a bite on Putney High Street. From KFC to Octagreen, there is something for everyone. We recommend Tortilla: with options ranging from vegan to meat, it is the perfect place for anyone who loves Mexican food. If you’re looking for a sweet treat afterwards, try Krispy Kreme for doughnuts or Creams for a range of desserts. For something a bit different, why not get a bubble tea from mooboo? Their cold fruit teas with tapioca or maracuja bubbles are our favourite.
Activites
Looking for a fun activity to do with friends? At Jungle Rumble, you can enjoy a game of crazy golf. It will be a great way to let go of exam stress and have some fun.
Our recommendations only scratch the surface of the gems Putney has to offer. To discover more, head down to Putney and see for yourself!
