2022 Annual meeting

This year’s annual meeting was held on one of the hottest days of the year held in the upstairs room of Prince of Wales pub. We had a great turn out from businesses with some having to listen from the corridor.

Dominic Stead, owner of Sporting Feet on Lacy Road, and a BID Board director welcomed everyone to the meeting and shared with us his thoughts on Putney. Sporting Feet have traded in Putney since 2011.

Nicola Grant, Executive Director presented on the work the BID had delivered for the financial year 2021/2022, and talked about some of the projects for the year 2022/2023. It was agreed that Councillor Akinola could be the new Council representative on the BID board.

Hannah Goldsmith, from First Mile explained why recycling has a positive carbon impact and how each of us can do our bit.

Fleur Anderson, Putney Member of Parliament gave out the awards to the Favourite Businesses as voted recently on Positively Putney’s survey. Details of winners can be found here.

That left us with some time for networking.

Thank you to the Prince of Wales pub for hosting us so wonderfully and to all the businesses that attended.
