On Friday, Putney was transformed into a Toy Story-inspired Halloween adventure as families, children and businesses came together for a fantastic afternoon of free Halloween fun.
Our Trick or Treat trail was a huge success, with an incredible 55 local businesses taking part and an estimated 10,000 treats handed out to excited trick-or-treaters across the town centre. Children followed the trail around Putney, collecting treats and discovering participating businesses, while families enjoyed the lively atmosphere and activities throughout the afternoon. There was plenty of Halloween fun along the way, face painting, candy floss, and balloon models.
From spooky surprises and trick-or-treat stops to creative costumes and plenty of Toy Story-inspired fun, there was something for everyone. A big thank you to Lidl for generously providing the pumpkins where budding artists got creative with their own spooky carving designs and Putney Exchange Shopping Centre for part funding the Toy Story animations.
The event was a wonderful showcase of Putney’s community spirit. Local businesses went all out to welcome families, decorate their premises and get involved, helping to create a fun, friendly and memorable Halloween experience.

A huge thank you to all 55 participating businesses, Lidl for the pumpkins and everyone who came along to celebrate Halloween in Putney.
It was fantastic to see Putney come together, proving once again that a little community spirit can make a big difference.
