Since April 2024 we have bought into the GLA High Streets Data Service. This provides footfall and spend data and allows us to see trends, and make comparisons with competing town centres. In December 2025 Nicola presented her research report on the increase of fast food businesses at County Hall.
We share data with businesses in our quarterly paper newsletters. If BID businesses would like to understand the data further then email Nicola who can provide it for you.
In 2023 we commissioned LH analytics to write a report looking at demographics and spend profile of Putney customers to enable us to understand them better. In 2022 we partnered with Place Informatics who provide footfall and place data on demographics.
The graph below shows the spend in retail within the Putney BID area between March 2022 and March 2024. It shows that spend in consistently highest over the lunchtime period.
