A refurbished specsavers
Specsavers celebrated their refurbishment with a reopening on the 14th of February. Loyal customers of this iconic brand of opticians’ were delighted to be part of their Valentine’s Day celebrations, as the Deputy Mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Sana Jafri, formally re-opened the store after its £100,000 facelift.
Offerings in Specsavers Putney
In its 30th year anniversary, the Deputy Mayor met her Specsavers Putney hosts, Valpreet Chana, optical director, and Thomas Reid, retail director, who introduced Councillor Jafri to the team. The Deputy Mayor was then given a tour of the newly modernised practice, which now has four consulting rooms, with one dual room offering audiology services. Specsavers Putney also offers enhanced clinical services, including MECS (Minor Eye Condition Services) and CUES (Community Urgent Eyecare Service) – the only opticians in the locality to offer these services.
Greater choice in Store
With its updated, stylised new frame displays, in-store lighting and wall mounts, Specsavers Putney has enhanced its floor space, which means customers have a greater choice of clinics for both sight and hearing services, with three optical clinics a day and two hearing clinics held on Wednesday and Friday.
Optical director Valpreet Chana comments:
‘The recent investment means that we can now offer our customers enhanced services, plus our hospital grade diagnostic testing equipment means customers can visit us with any eye care issues, as we normally offer emergency appointments on the day.’
‘As a team, we’re looking forward to continuing to deliver the best customer service and care across the community for many years to come.’
