We are absolutely delighted to announce that the Positively Putney BID3 renewal ballot has been successful, securing a further five years for the BID from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2032.
The results demonstrate an outstanding level of support from our business community:
- 61% turnout – an excellent response from businesses across Putney.
- 85% voted YES by number of votes cast.
- 87% voted YES by rateable value.
These are fantastic results and represent a tremendous vote of confidence in Positively Putney, the work delivered over the past five years and our ambitions for the future.
It has taken a huge amount of effort from many people to get to this point, a BID is not won in the final weeks of a ballot. It is built over five years by showing up, listening to businesses, delivering projects and demonstrating the value of working together. We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved and excited about what comes next.
From April 2027, we will begin delivering our BID3 business plan, building on the progress made during the current term and focusing on four key priorities:
- Destination Putney – promoting Putney, driving footfall and delivering events that bring people into our town centre.
- Streetscene – keeping Putney clean, attractive and welcoming.
- Safe & Secure – continuing to invest in security and initiatives that make Putney a safer place for businesses and visitors.
- Better for Business – supporting local businesses, strengthening our collective voice and championing Putney.
