Justine Greening Opens Wandworth Oasis Shop

The week before Christmas, Putney welcomed our newest charity shop along Upper Richmond Road; Wandsworth Oasis. They are a small community focused chain of charity shops located around South London, which provides support towards those living with HIV.

On Friday 9th February we were joined by representatives and volunteers from Wandsworth Oasis,  members of the local community, MP Justine Greening and the Mayor of Wandsworth to officially cut the ribbon and open Wandsworth Oasis’ ninth shop in South London.

The charity have eight other lovely shops, manned by a team of determined volunteers. You can find your nearest shop here. All of their charity shops are hugely grateful for any donations of clothing, accessories, DVDs etc. You are able to find a list of what donations they accept here.

The Positively Putney team are thrilled to have such a great addition to the BID and look forward to seeing this charity shop thrive.

If you would like to find out more about Wandsworth Oasis and how you can get involved to make a difference, please visit their website here. Check out their business profile for more information on opening times and how to get there.
